I’ve spent 23 years as a graphic designer, 16 years as a web designer and microagency owner, 12 years as a blogger, and 5 years as a course author. Writing, workshops, speaking, and mentoring dedicated, ambitious freelancers are all things I enjoy.

 

I’ve made every mistake I suppose you can make over the years, and I’ve learned most lessons the hard way… I’ve learned that running a business takes a lot of time and effort, but it doesn’t have to be difficult if you have the correct information, tools, and assistance.

My objective is to build and run a business that I love — one that makes me happy and enthusiastic every day — while also enjoying life and generating important memories with the people who matter most to me… And it is my mission to assist you in doing the same.

 

I spent far too many years working to live, allowing my company to run me wild and leaving me feeling overworked, overwhelmed, and fatigued. For a long time, I pondered how other freelancers, entrepreneurs, and self-employed professionals were able to achieve the mythical independence I imagined when I established my company.

 

Thankfully, I now strive to live a fulfilling and amazing life.

 

To feel inspired, fulfilled, and thrilled about what’s ahead, whether it’s the problems I need to solve, the chores on my to-do list, or the students and clients I get to work with, I ruthlessly manage my time and proactively manage my obligations and expanding business.

Monthly recurring revenue and passive income (that requires active marketing) from online courses, business training programs, digital items, live events, and yes, client services make up my broad income portfolio.

I can now take time away from my business to refresh my soul and actually enjoy life with those that matter most to me.

That doesn’t mean I don’t take my work seriously or take pride in what I make. In fact, despite working less hours and taking longer vacation than ever before, I now feel more creative and inspired than before.
